In collaboration with James Hatton.This is an experimentation into looping a fax machine as both a projection surface and to create layered imagery.In order for it to run smoothly, it must be monitored and thus becomes a kind of performance.

The above link is a Video8 documentation of projecting a film onto the moving fax surface.
The film itself is called "Self Scan" which uses the idea of the fax reading itself over and over in conjunction with the self referential nature of the film. You will find in the link below.
